The Dining Services Staff is eager to meet your culinary and nutritional needs during your stay on campus. In addition to providing a number of special dinners and events, the staff strives to satisfy the more than 3000 individuals from many backgrounds.
We have an exciting program for you that provides maximum flexibility.
Your UCR Card covers your meals and offers you many options based on which meal plan you have selected. Your meal card is intended for your use only. You may use your card one time per meal period up to your weekly meal allowance. You may use your Dining Dollars to purchase meals, food and supplies from any dining location.
Please take the time to identify which plan you have selected and what it includes prior to arriving on Move-In Day. A list of locations and hours of operation will be given to you in your move-in packet. The Meal Plan descriptions are listed below.
BASE 10- The BASE 10 Meal Plan enables you to eat any 10 of the 19 meals offered weekly at all Residential Restaurants. Meals do not carry over from week to week and are re-set every Monday at 12:01 am. Meals are intended for the cardholder's use only.
FLEX 10- The Dining 10 Meal Plan enables you to eat any 10 of the 19 meals offered weekly at all Residential Restaurants. It also includes $450 Dining Dollars per year that can be used at any Dining Services location to buy snacks, regular meals, late-night meals, or guest meals.
FLEX 14- This Meal Plan enables you to eat any 14 of the 19 meals offered weekly at all Residential Restaurants. It also includes $300 Dining Dollars per year that can be used at any Dining Services location to buy snacks, regular meals, late-night meals, or guest meals.
PREMIER- This Meal Plan is composed entirely of $3,300 Dining Dollars, providing you maximum flexibility to eat when and what you want at any Dining Services location. This plan requires that you budget your spending habits to ensure funds last throughout the entire year. There are no daily/weekly limits with this plan. To assist you in managing this plan, we will disburse this plan in 50% increments. If you run out of your first 50% disbursement prematurely, please go to the Resident Services Office in your building for assistance.
