The placement staff works very hard in matching roommates and accommodating requests. Any request not fulfilled is usually due to requests exceeding our resources. If your roommate moves out during the year, it may become necessary to either have you move to another room or have a new roommate move in with you. The University will make consolidations when necessary. The empty half of your room needs to be ready at all times for a roommate. Charges may be applied for non-compliance.

You must consult your RA and your RD prior to any room change. Once approved, room changes are coordinated at the RSO. All students involved in the room change must be in agreement before any room change is made. A room change form may be obtained at the RSO and must be completed and approved BEFORE a room change may take place. There is a $10 processing fee for all room changes. A $30 fine will be imposed for unauthorized room changes, as well as any applicable cleaning, maintenance, administrative or rent loss costs. There will be no room changes during the first or last two weeks of any quarter.

Single rooms are available on a limited basis. Single room contract addendums must be completed for all single rooms and there is an additional charge.
